Platform status: The Xbox One and PS4 versions were shut down by Bandai Namco on November 30, 2022. The PC version on Steam is live and actively patched by VALOFE, usually with maintenance roughly every two weeks.

Quick Start

• It is an action MMO, not tab-target. You aim, dodge, and chain light and heavy attacks into combos. Class skill slots are fed by combos you build yourself.
• Pick a class you enjoy mechanically. All classes can solo the story; group content wants a tank, a healer and damage.
• Follow the main story quest. It unlocks features (mounts, dungeons, crafting, Blessings) in the right order and gives the best leveling pace.
• Level 40 is the big milestone. Since the August 13, 2026 maintenance, equipping Element Orbs and using Element Pack items requires level 40, and the Element endgame content is built around that level; the high-level Elemental Quest Board quests unlock at level 45.
• Do the daily loops. Elemental Quest Board quests, Element Daily Check-in, dungeons and world bosses are where endgame materials come from.
• World bosses are free rewards. During events they spawn on a schedule (see below). You only need to take part, but you get nothing if you are dead or out of combat when it dies.
• Save gear presets. Since September 23, 2026 you can store up to five gear loadouts (two free) and swap with F1 to F5.
• Do not spend Star Seeds blindly. Star Seeds are the premium-ish currency used for things like extra loadout slots; Lumena is the shop currency. Plan purchases.
• Join a guild early. Guild perks, group finding and help with field bosses make leveling much faster.
• Check event windows. The October 1 to 7 buff event doubles monster EXP, quest Skill EXP, monster gold and reputation.

Classes

The PC version launched in August 2021 with five classes. The tank is called the Guardian in current PC patch notes (a shield-based tank that uses Courage and shout skills; the console version called this role Crusader). A sixth class, the Assassin, was added on March 9, 2023 with its own pre-registration and level-up events. Check the character creation screen for the current roster.

Recent Class Changes (verify in the patch notes)

• Guardian (Sept 23, 2026): Shackles of Oppression now spends full Courage to stun enemies for 3 seconds (elites immune). Zealot's Fire now grants a 30-second state with +10% Attack Power after using a skill.
• Guardian (Sept 28, 2026 hotfix): Gift of Valor's Powerful Shout now gives +40% Critical Rate and +200% Critical Damage for 10 seconds when using Shout combos and skills, plus the instant full-charge Full Strike with 150% more damage.
• Priest (Aug 20 and Sept 3, 2026): Blessing of Valor "Fury" increases Retribution combo and skill damage and heals allies when Smite-type skills crit. "Trance" was trimmed on September 3 to 12% Crit Rate and 20% Crit Damage per stack, stacking up to 5 times.
• Ranger (Sept 23, 2026): Fire From Above, Thundering Arrows and Ambush Shot projectiles, plus right-click AoE shots, deal slightly more elemental damage.

Core Combat

Combos and Stances

Each class has light and heavy attack inputs that branch into combo chains. You customize which skills sit at the end of those chains, so your "rotation" is really a set of button strings. Tips:

• Build one fast combo for mobs and one high-damage finisher for bosses.
• Keep a dodge or block always available; big bosses telegraph wide AoEs.
• Many skills trigger bonus effects when used after a specific combo step; read the tooltip.

Blessings

Blessings are god-granted passive and active enhancements tied to your class (for example the Priest's Blessing of Valor or the Guardian's Gift of Valor). They significantly change a build's damage and are frequently rebalanced, so re-read your Blessing tooltips after every maintenance.

Stats to Watch

• Attack Power and Critical Rate / Critical Damage for damage dealers.
• Elemental damage and Fixed Elemental Damage from level 40 onward. Since September 3, 2026, the Element Stats panel displays your fixed elemental damage directly.
• HP and defenses for tanks; Priests value healing boosts.

Leveling Path

• Main story quests through the early regions. They unlock mounts, fast travel and dungeons.
• Side quests and reputation in each region. Reputation is boosted +100% during the October 1 to 7 buff event.
• Dungeons as soon as they unlock. They drop better gear than quest rewards and teach group mechanics.
• Field bosses for gear and materials; many need a group.
• Level 40: you can now equip Element Orbs and open Element Packs; start the Element content (Elemental Trial Tower, quest board).
• Level 45: the Elemental Quest Board offers high-level quests (fixed on August 14, 2026 so under-level players no longer see them).

Endgame: The Element System

The Element system is the current progression layer for characters level 40 and up.

• Element Orbs add elemental affixes, including Fixed Elemental Damage. Orbs can be re-rolled; the September 3, 2026 patch fixed the ranges shown when re-rolling.
• Affix quality follows item grades from White to Green, Blue, Purple and Gold. For example, the Dark element's Fixed Elemental Damage ranges after September 3, 2026 were White 390 to 1007 up to Gold 4338 to 5850.
• Elemental Trial Tower: level 40+ climbing content with rankings and boss floors. Clear rewards give materials; overflow is mailed if your bag is full (since August 20, 2026).
• Elemental Quest Board: daily quests for materials.
• The Nightspire dungeon areas (for example Abyss of Evil and Caverns of Wrath) use elemental mechanics such as the Essence of Fire buff that protects against fire damage.

Priority order for a new level 40 character: unlock the tower, do the daily board quests, then aim for Purple or Gold orbs in your main damage element.

Gear and Enhancement

• Enhance your weapon first; it has the biggest impact on damage.
• Use the Accessory Reroll event (September 23 to before October 15 maintenance) to fix bad accessory stats cheaply.
• "Extra Item Gain upon Disassembly" caps at 100% (since August 20, 2026). Stacking past that is wasted.
• Save presets with the One-Click Gear Loadout: press P on the Gear page, equip, save; swap in the field via TAB, One-Click Loadout, then F1 to F5.
