# Shop Titans: Complete Guide (September 2026)

How to run a profitable shop, craft and sell efficiently, gear heroes for quests, use gems wisely, and get the most out of the current events, Tier 16, the Tomb of Titans and the newest crafting systems.

*Researched September 2026 — current as of version 26.9.1 (10 September 2026) and the "Magic is Back (to School)" update. Live games change; check the linked sources if something differs.*

## Quick Start

1. **Keep crafting slots busy at all times.** Idle crafting slots are lost money. Queue longer crafts before you log off.
2. **Sell to customers, don't just fill racks.** Haggle with every customer: **Surcharge** when you have energy to spare, **Discount** when you need energy back.
3. **Don't sell your first Epic or Legendary items cheaply.** Higher-quality items are worth far more, either to customers or on the market.
4. **Upgrade resource bins and workers steadily.** Resource production, not blueprints, is the main early bottleneck.
5. **Join an active guild early.** Guild investment unlocks city buildings and bonuses, and guild events like the Lost City of Gold hand out big rewards.
6. **Send heroes on quests constantly.** Quests bring the components you need for higher-tier blueprints.
7. **Spend gems carefully.** The best early uses are permanent (workers, slots, storage) rather than speeding up timers.
8. **Check the event calendar.** Content Passes, login calendars and community events give free blueprints and resources.
9. **Claim the free trials.** Merchant Levels 10 to 20 get a 7-day Royal Merchant trial; Level 35+ non-subscribers get a 7-day Autocrafting Machine trial.

## The Core Loop

1. **Resources** come from resource bins over time: basics such as Iron, Wood, Leather and Herbs first, then rarer resources (for example Fabric, Oil, Jewels and Essence) as you unlock more workers and bins, and **Stardust** for Tier 16.
2. **Workers** craft items from blueprints using those resources plus **components** from quests.
3. **Customers** (heroes and townsfolk) walk into your shop and ask for items. You sell, haggle, or refuse.
4. **Heroes** you recruit wear your crafted gear on **quests** and bring back components and loot.
5. **Profit** buys shop expansions, furniture, workers, and more blueprints.

## Crafting and Item Quality

- Every craft has a chance to roll a higher quality. There are five quality levels, topping out at **Flawless, Epic and Legendary**; each step up means much higher value and stats.
- **Blueprint mastery:** crafting an item repeatedly unlocks milestones that reduce cost, speed up crafting, or boost quality chances. Crafting the same useful item many times is how you level it.
- **Blueprint tiers** run up to **Tier 16** (added May 2026). Tier 16 blueprints need **Stardust**, which no worker produces: place the **Stardust Grinder** bin and feed it components to grind them down over time. Tier 16 components come from the **Meteor Zone** quest area.
- **Enchanting:** add elemental and spirit enchantments to items for big stat and value boosts.
- **Ascension:** use Ascension Shards to ascend blueprints for permanent upgrades.
- **Starforged Blueprints** (April 2026): an extra-refined blueprint level with new milestone upgrades and a collection reward track. They drop from chests where you've found every Exclusive Blueprint and from events.
- **Transcendence Seals** (July 2026): once a blueprint is fully Ascended, seals unlock further boosts and extra stats. The main source is the **Nullysium** Flash Quest (a two-day event every 14 days), with a small chance from Terror-difficulty Tomb of Titans rewards.
- **Autocrafting Machine** (August 2026): a Royal Merchant perk. Queue items and add the required components (no resources needed) to craft automatically.

## Selling and Haggling

| Action | Effect | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Sell | Normal price | Low-value items, or when energy is balanced |
| Surcharge | Spend energy to sell for more | High-value items when energy is plentiful |
| Discount | Sell for less but gain energy | Cheap items when you need energy |
| Suggest | Offer a different item | When the customer wants something you don't have, or to move stock |

Energy rules of thumb: discount cheap items, surcharge expensive ones. Decorating your shop and upgrading furniture improves your energy cap and customer flow.

## Heroes, Champions and Quests

- **Heroes** come in 18 classes (per the official store listing) across three archetypes: fighters (red), rogues (green) and spellcasters (blue). Promote heroes to their advanced classes as they level.
- **Champions** are powerful named leaders that join a party and give team-wide bonuses. Examples include Argon, Lilu, Hemma, Donovan and Rudo.
- **Party building:** mix tanks and damage dealers, match elements against the quest's enemies, and gear heroes with your best-quality items.
- **Gear can break** when heroes are knocked out on quests, so don't send your only Legendary item into a quest your team is under-leveled for.
- **Resting:** heroes and champions need rest after a quest. Ripley's premium power **Eternal Rest** lets them begin resting as soon as a quest timer finishes.

### Recent Champion Changes (Magic is Back update)

- **Hemma** reworked around draining vitality from her allies to boost her attack.
- **Donovan** buffed with larger party bonuses.
- **Rudo**'s Critical Hit effect lasts longer at higher champion tiers.

Check each champion's in-game card for the exact current numbers before rebuilding a team around them.

### Quest Area Cost Cuts

The same update significantly reduced gold and gem unlock costs for areas including Chronos Ruins, Haunted Castle, Sunken Temple, Bleakspire Peak, Cinderlake Volcano, Void Dimension, Elysium, Ancient Jungle and Meteor Zone. If you stalled on unlocking a zone, check again.

## Guilds and the City

- Guild members **invest** gold and gems into city buildings, which unlock workers, bonuses and features for everyone.
- Guild events: **Lost City of Gold** is a guild-wide push with a reward track; progress further for bigger rewards.
- The **Tower of Titans** is the long-standing hero challenge. Beating it at Beta difficulty or higher unlocks the **Tomb of Titans**: an infinitely scaling dungeon where a Curse strengthens monsters as you go deeper. **Blessed Lanterns** weaken the Curse. On Terror difficulty, the Tomb drops **Tomb-Bound Keys** for the Tomb-Bound Chest, whose exclusive blueprints (such as the Unearthed Blade and Forgotten Graveplate, with more added in later updates) pair with the powerful Tomb-Bound Spirit.

## Current Events (Late September to October 2026)

| Event | Dates | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| Wizard Assembly Content Pass | 14 September to 4 October | Archwizard Attire (robe), Grimar's Starcaller (wand); Full Access costs 1500 Gems; completing it grants the "Nerd" title |
| Magical Studies Login Calendar | 26 September to 5 October | Daily rewards including the Spell Reflector shield |

Events that already ended this month: the Unlikely Alliance Community Event (10 to 14 September) and the extended Lucky Rush (to 14 September). The 26.9.1 compensation mail (Gold Compasses, Mythic XP Drinks, Research Scrolls, Ascension Shards and more) had to be claimed by 17 September.

Also new: unclaimed rewards from major events (Lost City of Gold, Tower of Titans, Dragon Invasion, King's Caprice), Content Passes and Community Events are now auto-claimed after the event ends, as long as it's within 90 days.

## Gems and Spending

| Priority | Spend gems on | Why |
|---|---|---|
| High | Workers and crafting slots | Permanent boosts to production |
| High | Storage and shop expansions | Room to hold resources and display more items |
| Medium | Content Pass Full Access | Good value if you'll complete it |
| Low | Speeding up crafts and quests | Short-lived benefit |
| Low | Resource refills | Usually better to upgrade bins |

**Royal Merchant** is the subscription; it adds quality-of-life perks and, since August 2026, the Autocrafting Machine. Try it with the free trial before paying. **Premium workers** such as Ripley ($24.99, unlocked at Merchant Level 37) are optional.

## Common Mistakes to Avoid

- **Leaving crafting slots idle** while you're away.
- **Selling Epic/Legendary items at normal price** without checking the market.
- **Buying cosmetics before workers and slots.**
- **Sending under-geared heroes** and breaking your best items.
- **Ignoring the guild.** Solo shops miss big investment bonuses and event rewards.
- **Chasing every tier at once.** Focus on items that sell well and that your heroes need.
- **Forgetting Content Pass deadlines.** Rewards are auto-claimed now, but unfinished tasks are still lost.

## Advanced Tips

- **Market flipping:** buy under-priced items in the player market and resell at your shop or back on the market.
- **Mastery farming:** craft cheap items that share a worker with your high-value items to level workers without wasting resources.
- **Plan around Nullysium:** it runs every 14 days and is the main Transcendence Seal source; have your strongest team rested and ready.
- **Mana Shield** (a Hero stat, mostly from Masks) regenerates fully after 3 turns if the wearer isn't hit, making Masks strong for longer fights.
- **Tomb of Titans:** push as deep as your roster allows; rewards scale with depth, and a wide, diverse roster matters more than one super-team.
- **Webstore reward tracks** now have doubled bonus rewards (such as Research Scrolls and Ascension Shards) if you buy there.
