Researched September 2026. Current as of the official service closure on 6 August 2025. The game is offline, so nothing here will change; check the linked sources if something differs.
Shut down: On 8 May 2025 the Ironsight team announced the end of service. W Coin sales were suspended on 9 May 2025, and the official service closed on 6 August 2025 at 15:00 (GMT+9). The Steam store page now reads "Ironsight is no longer available on the Steam store." Ironsight was an online-only game, and there is no official offline mode or private-server release.

At closure Ironsight held a Mostly Positive Steam rating (about 74% of roughly 9,000 reviews).
A near-future resource war: private military companies armed with weaponized drones fight over the last remaining resources on Earth. Maps featured interactable objects that could move terrain, block routes or transport players.

Weapon Mastery achievements unlocked Gold skins. The Overlab VSS was the last Epic skin added (April 2025).
The signature mechanic: tactical and offensive drones built by the private military companies. Players brought drones into matches for recon, such as the Jaws Spy Drone, for protecting teammates, or for "devastating" attacks on the enemy team, as the store page put it. Good drone use was often what swung a close round.

Each season had a 100-tier battle pass with weapons, skins, costumes (including robot characters made by military companies), emblems, dog tags and charms.
The official Steam announcements document the final seasons in detail. Each season had a story theme built around a mercenary group, plus new weapons for the battle pass and a "Collection" weapon.

Season 16 closed on 25 September 2024 and no Season 17 was ever released. From then until closure the game ran on limited-time events, and in January 2025 the Season 15 and 16 battle pass items were moved into the Daily Store rotation.

Ironsight added 19 Steam achievements in August 2024, less than a year before closure. With the servers gone, none can be unlocked any more, so their global rates are frozen and extremely low. If you're a completionist, the list is permanently incomplete:

Drone Destroyer is a reminder that enemy drones could be shot down, and LMGs were a natural tool for it.
